So grateful to be in the top 3 on hype m next to some of my favorite artists.. 🙏
prototypes arrived by nervous system on Flickr.
Here’s another brief video, this one showing my very newest iteration of the Square Card Reader Case. It fits both the current Square Reader (as I write this it’s September 24th 2012) and the last iteration, which was the first iteration to go for sale in stores.
Inspired by the fact I kept misplacing the Square reader when I went to conventions.
Designed with a loop that can attach to a keychain (via a jump ring) or attach to a lanyard / neck strap. The one in the video has my decorative Swirl Gear logo, but I’m waiting to see if I can get Square’s permission to have their logo on the front as an option.
3D printing allows for the hinge to be printed intact, which means there’s no assembly required. It’s made from durable yet lightweight nylon, dyed, and varnished when purchased from my Etsy store (www.cwestbrookdesigns.etsy.com) or optional DIY varnish when purchased from my Shapeways store www.shapeways.com/shops/cwestbrook
