(via Shapeways | Blog: From Child’s Plasticine Sculpture to 3D Print as Easy as 123D) Taking a child’s plasticine sculpture and immortalizing it with full color 3D printing would have been near impossible as a domestic project prior to the release of 123D Catch. 123D Catch is part of Autodesk’s 123D range of 3D applications.  This one allows you to take multiple photographs of a 3D object which it then converts into a 3D model capable of being edited and eventually 3D printed, just like Nothy pictured below.
